One of my favorite scriptures is Proverbs 3:5-8 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 5 Trust the Lord completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. 6 With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way. 7 Don’t trust in your own wisdom, but fear and respect the Lord and stay away from evil. 8 If you do this, it will be like a refreshing drink and medicine for your body. Ever since I discovered this passage years ago; I cannot even begin to tell you how I have had to pray it and quote it and dive deeper into its meaning over and over and over again.

At one season in my life there was a BIG decision that needed to be made concerning a geographical move. I had been seeking the Lord for some time and believe that I had heard from the Father. I received a phone call from someone who needed some assistance and in providing what was needed it created what seemed at the time a problem. It meant that what should have been taken care of via phone or computer was not possible and it meant that I had to get in my car and make a trip across town to the bus station. I was a little more than irritated!

When I arrived at the bus station there was a bus that was in the process of loading its passengers. When I looked at the bus, its destination was the exact place that I had been praying about! It does not end there. When I went to the counter, I was told that what I was requesting was impossible. The lady said that they could not correct the error. I silently prayed. The manager came out of his office asked what the problem was and within ten minutes what I was told was impossible was done and I was on my way!

To some of you reading this you might say that it was a coincidence, but I don’t. You are entitled to your own opinion. I believe with all my heart that it was God showing me his way amid my seeking! He will lead the way!
